The traditional graduation ceremony for students at the Purple Campus in Béziers brought together several hundred people who came to applaud the 432 graduates.

The traditional graduation ceremony for students at the Purple Campus in Béziers took place on Friday, December 6. A total of 432 students, from CAP to Bachelor level, graduated in all the training courses at the institution: business, hotel and catering, industry, mechanics, hairdressing, health.

The ceremony took place in front of several hundred people, the students' relatives, their teachers and supervisors, but also the apprenticeship masters of the companies hosting the students on work-study programs: “This graduation ceremony marks the end of their studies for some, or the receipt of a Sesame to continue their studies, rejoices Lionel Richard, the director of the Purple Campus in Béziers, which has more than a thousand apprentices. In total, 30 to 40% of them continue their training. For example, some who pass their CAP continue and take their professional certificate or their baccalaureate.”

Since this year, the Purple Campus of Béziers, the largest center of its type in Occitanie, offers an industrial sector leading to a BTS in industrial systems maintenance or a BTS in electrical engineering.
