Absent for personal reasons last week, Hesham will return to Nîmes on Tuesday. JEAN MICHEL MART
Montpellier will still be deprived of some vital forces for the 2nd derby of the season.
It is a still much weakened Montpellier Handball that will travel to Nîmes on Tuesday (8 p.m.) for the round of 16 of the Coupe de France.
Already deprived of Stas Skube and Kyllian Villeminot, its playmakers, the MHB will also have to do without Yanis Lenne (lumbago) and Veron Nacinovic (strain). Absent in Créteil last Friday in the championship for personal reasons, Ahmed Hesham will however be present to challenge his former club.

To end the year in style and keep its ambitions intact, all competitions combined, Montpellier is playing for big. With this trip to Parnasse, of course, and especially the reception of Toulouse, Saturday, on the occasion of the 14th day of Starligue.
“It's a very important week”, confirms Erick Mathé rather satisfied to have slipped through the cracks in Créteil. “I was wary of this match”. More than the one against Usam ? “These matches (against Nîmes), we know, are never quiet”, insists the Montpellier coach. All the more so against a team that has come from far behind (3 wins in 4 matches) after a disastrous start to the season.
“It's immediately more exciting indeed.”
