Some products removed
The words “Deny, Defend, Depose,” written on the shell casings found near the crime scene, now appear on T-shirts, mugs, caps, and stickers.
These items, available on platforms like Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and TikTok, have been removed for some time after companies like Amazon deemed them to violate their terms of sale. But similar products remain available on other platforms, as observed by BFM Tech & Co.
A rallying cry
This slogan, used on social media, serves as a rallying cry to denounce the abuses of American health insurance companies. Brian Thompson, the victim, ran UnitedHealthcare, a company repeatedly accused of abusive practices, such as prohibitive prices and refusal to reimburse care.
The slogan written on the cartridge cases is an adaptation of the title of a book published in 2010, “Delay, Deny, Defend.” The book details the tactics insurance companies use to avoid payouts, while also providing tips on how to deal with them, as reported by the Associated Press (AP).
