IN BRIEF

  • This Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Léa Salamé received Jérôme Commandeur on France Inter
  • And here is that his sidekick, Nicolas Demorand, left in a fit of laughter
  • An attitude that surprised Léa Salamé

This Wednesday, December 11, 2024, Léa Salamé hosted once again the morning show on France Inter, alongside Nicolas Demorand. During this morning, she welcomed Jérôme Commandeur who came to talk about his series, Le Monde magique, broadcast on Canal+. “TV inspires you in particular, you are a child of TV, you said it. There is something intrinsically ridiculous in TV ? When you love it ? In the TV host ?”, then asks the journalist.

“Yes maybe. Not the host but maybe the fact that everyone is looking at the same image. The same tears. The use of emotion. It's something that bothers me and fascinates me, describes the actor.

Léa Salamé speaks out on Nicolas Demorand live on the radio

The opportunity then to hear & on air one of his parodies of Nikos Aliagas. We can hear Jérôme Commandeur going off in all directions, speaking both French and Greek. For no less than 15 seconds, Nicolas Demorand, in the studios, will laugh out loud. An attitude which then makes Léa Salamé react: “You see, you have managed to make Nicolas Demorand laugh, who never laughs what”, she says.

“That's rare in the office”, she continues. Is Léa Salamé bored with her partner ? No, not in the least. Indeed, last November, the duo, inseparable for several years now, confided in their collaboration.

The confidences of the two journalists on their collaboration

And it seems that this duo works very well since France Inter has become the number one radio station in France.  “We are very happy because it depends on the waves. France Inter has been first for some time, but this wave, we were waiting for it with a bit of anxiety… We said to ourselves that maybe we will bore people, that people will get fed up…”, confides the journalist.

Very frank, Raphaël Glucksmann's partner confided: “We're not going to lie to each other : not a day goes by without us opening social networks or certain channels and reading that we are a woke, leftist, bourgeois, disconnected, elitist, Parisian radio station… What these figures show by their magnitude is that it is not acceptable!”.
