On Wednesday evening, the new outfits were presented at the Tano hall, for the association Les Gazelles à vos trousses by Sport 2000, their partner. A friendly moment, always awaited by the Millau runners, which was the opportunity to make two donations. The first is none other than the result of the solidarity challenge organized in October, on the occasion of Pink October, to fight against cancer. Like last year, the Gazelles had set a route to complete throughout the day to raise funds. The target set was 500 km and in total, 240 laps were completed for a total of 1,200 km. The target was largely achieved and the result made it possible to double the donation initially planned.

A first donation against the disease of Charcot

Then, during the same evening, another donation was made. The Gazelles donated €1,000 to ARSLA, the association fighting against Charcot's disease. Locally, it is represented by Arnaud Trémolet, himself affected by this disease who multiplies the operations to make it known and advance research. The opportunity for him to remind what Charcot's disease is in front of the residents of the association and to present his fight and his actions to raise awareness of this disease.
