A conversation under high tension… On Thursday, December 12, 2024, Polska pushed a rant on the set of Touche pas à mon poste, on C8. She was indeed shocked by the comments made by Géraldine Maillet a few days ago. Remember, the 52-year-old columnist had declared: “Plastically, I don't see why Polska wouldn't be a fantasy for everyone, it's an absolute sexual object”, before adding that the young woman was a “dream creature”.
On Snapchat, Polska had mentioned her statements. “You know, in those moments you're overwhelmed (…) At the time you say nothing and then when you're in bed you say: 'Ah I should have said that'. (…) I didn't realize it, but really, what she said was crazy! (…) A sex object… For someone who claims to be a feminist, how can you say of a woman that it is a sexual object ? Çit is not going well or what ?”.

On Cyril Hanouna's set, the young woman explained that she had reacted on social media after receiving messages from her parents. Speaking directly to Géraldine Maillet, Polska declared : “Reducing a woman to an object, I find that it is anything but feminist. I want to not be the most intelligent but there I had the impression of being an inflatable doll in fact!“.
After apologizing, Géraldine Maillet indicated: “At the beginning of the show, I thought it was a bit darka stuff, all that, so I already said that you were a dream creature so it wasn't really mean… And when I say an ultimate sex object, it's actually me I found myself thirty years back, at your age. Me when I was young and fresh, I could be called the ultimate sex object and I didn't take it badly as a feminist”.
Géraldine Maillet: “I didn't feel like I was being devalued”
According to the 52-year-old columnist, times have changed so much that it is an expression that can no longer be used. So, Polska caught her off guard by posting it: “Since you are old, we can respect you and since I am young, we must not respect me”. After the columnists laughed, Géraldine Maillet clarified : “I'm just saying that someone could have told me that when I was young, I wouldn't have taken it badly”.
To conclude on the subject, this one developed the bottom of his thought by specifying: “Me, I didn't have the impression of being lowered é an object. I didn’t feel like I was devalued or instrumentalized. In fact, çit didn't make me no more trouble than ça“.
