Un test effectué du côté de Reims, sur une aire gérée par le groupe français, s’est avéré convaincant. L’équipement va être généralisé à toutes ses implantations autoroutières.

It’s a very nice contract. A nice move. The company Washin, based in Baillargues, has just signed a contract with the TotalEnergies group to install washing machines on the motorway service areas it manages. “These are kiosk laundromats that will be set up in their car parks, explains Dimitri Belin, its manager. These washing machines are mainly intended for truck drivers, who will thus be able to wash and dry their laundry”.

Founded in 2019, the company Washin was previously based in the centre of Montpellier. It recently moved to a new location, near the Golf de Massane, in Baillargues. It has a dozen employees. Washin has developed by installing spaces for washing machines in student residences, tourist residences, campsites, apart-hotels, and young workers' hostels.
