Les Pâtés nîmois installés au cœur de ville.
The specialists in small Nîmes pâtés have found an address in the heart of the city that will allow them to increase the number of customers in the store.
Three years ago, brothers Frédéric and Olivier Buisson took over Les Petits pâtés nîmois from Christophe Brunetti, who had created the company in 2007. They then set up in the same workshop-store at the end of the quays of La Fontaine, Place du Maréchal Foch.

For Frédéric Buisson “being located between two other icons of Nîmes specialties, the Mouton brandade and the croquant from Maison Villaret, on a busy road, is really ideal for us. We have gained visibility and from the first days, we have increased the number of visits by ten, especially those of tourists who only came in small numbers to our workshop on the Quais de la Fontaine”.
The workshop elsewhere, remains on Place Foch, the store, with a sober, slate gray facade, white interior and light wood, is only intended for the sale of pâtés but also other specialties of the Buisson family, minerves or fougasses, whether salted or from Aigues-Mortes.
As for recipes, if like the Cévenol, the classic pâtés with brandade, chorizo, lamb, tielle sétoise or foie gras for the holidays, are still on the menu, a new addition, chorizo-brandade has just appeared. “A perfect combination of flavors”, explains Frédéric Buisson who is already thinking about new recipes for 2025, “surprises and novelty, we are going to launch into sweet pâté”.
Finally, like a cherry on the pâté, the workshop's products have just won the gold medal in the Gard gourmand competition.
Les Pâtés nîmois 9 rue de la Madeleine open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
