Jean-François Mourgues, on his home turf (Alpine A 110). – ALAIN LAURET ECHAPPEMENT
41st Cigalois rally – Coupe de France: we close in Cévennes, with a beautiful platform.
Once is not customary, it is the national Cigalois rally that will close the motorsport season in Occitanie Méditerranée after having been postponed to September due to bad weather.
The organizers can boast of having brought together nearly 170 competitors with a promising line-up, particularly on the historic side (and around ten candidates for victory) and nearly 120 modern ones. A great demonstration of solidarity on the part of the practitioners who did not fail to support organizers who might have experienced financial difficulties.

More muscular version
Having left the road in the Cévennes, Vivens will be at the start after having worked hard to repair his DS3 Rally2. But for this “version 2” of the rally, which is much more muscular, he will have a lot to do with drivers of the calibre of Puppo and Enjolras (Hyundai I20) Nicolas (C3 Rally2) with the Corsican Vallicioni (DS3 Rally2) or Brunet (Skoda Rally2) in ambush. Mourgues and Fassio junior in RGT, Pougnant and Sérieys (Clio) or Pueyo (208) in FRC4 are aiming for the runners-up places.
In VHC – 33 entries! –, Fassio (BMW M3) associated with G. Authebon, Clot (Sierra), Viala and Brunel (Ford Sierra), Capel (M3) and Marcobal (Audi Quattro) are aiming for the podium.
