Villa Malzac has a pop-up store in downtown Mende

Roland Lesluin, William Fages and six other artists from Villa Malzac are exhibiting in the city center. Midi Libre – Manon Baffie

For the second year in a row, the works of the artists from Villa Malzac are coming to town. For the past few days, several dozen paintings have been presented in the old fishing shop located on Place au Beurre. “We show ourselves a little more than there, explains Roland Lesluin. It is well exhibited.” The pop-up shop will be open every day until Christmas. Schedules may vary depending on the artists' availability.

Various styles

The nine creators offer completely different works. Colorful surrealist paintings, portraits, landscapes, black ink drawings, abstracts or even stencils made on a cardboard shopping bag in a pop art style. Some mix different materials, such as wood or fabric. Art lovers will undoubtedly find what they are looking for. And maybe even something to slip an extra gift under the tree…

Please note that exceptionally, “le 22 au 22” will not take place at Villa Malzac but in the boutique. No guest this time, but the opportunity for the general public to meet the creators of the artist's studio.
