While his friend Muriel Robin turned her back on him, this is not the case for Jean-Marie Bigard. “If you knew how proud I am to hear Pierre say that I am one of the only ones left. Do you realize ?” he explains to Jordan de Luxe. “Pierre was adored by absolutely everyone. And all of a sudden, he becomes unapproachable. Justice punishes him in an incredibly violent way.”

“What he did is also very violent too...” then qualifies the journalist to talk about the accident committed by Pierre Palmade. For Jean-Marie Bigard, his sentence is too harsh and should result in an adjustment. “Yes I think he was given special treatment, which I don't dispute, but I would love for his sentence to be a little bit reduced.” evokes the comedian.

Since his trial and the judgment of Pierre Palmade, Jean-Marie Bigard has been able to éexchange with him. “Have you had him on the phone since the trial ?” then asks Jordan de Luxe. “Yes he told me he was destroyed not long ago. He told me 'I wake up and fall asleep with this.' He is truly repentant like my father's murderer.” he explains.

Pierre Palmade feels greatly for the family hurt and affected by the tragedy. “He will do everything he can to alleviate, if possible, the grief he has caused this family.” says Jean-Marie Bigard. “For Christmas, I think he'll stay in Bordeaux. We don't know exactly what's going to happen. Will he be in prison or will he be under an ankle bracelet ? (…) He's afraid of prison. I'm with him, I tell him to hold on.”
