On December 24, in Nîmes, the Legion will exhibit its nativity scenes in the churches of the city center

Several churches in Nîmes open their doors for this event. A first.

Every year, the six companies of the second foreign infantry regiment make and exhibit their Christmas nativity scenes. Previously held in their Colonel de Chabrières barracks, rue Vincent-Faïta in Nîmes, the event is this year taking up residence in the various churches in the city centre.

Legionnaire's Christmas Mass

On 24 December, Sainte Perpétue, Notre-Dame-et-Saint-Castor, as well as the churches of Saint-Baudile and Saint-Charles and finally the church of Saint-Paul, will therefore welcome these original nativity scenes as well as the legionnaires who will present and interpret them for the benefit of visitors from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Finally, at 7 p.m., the legionnaire's Christmas Mass in Saint-Baudile will allow to extend his immersion in the traditions of the Legion. An opportunity to better understand the importance of this family celebration for this institution of the French army.
