Isabelle Nanty: what big news story has traumatized her ?

Isabelle Nanty is absolutely not fond of crazy evenings like those organized at the Pacha Club. “Little 1, I'm allergic to alcohol, I try to get drunk, it's kind of our job, but there's a moment when I have to leave the party, because I'm too out of it, begins the actress soon to have the poster for God Save the Tuche by Jean-Paul-Rouve. Little 2, I was éeducated in the haunting of boxes.”

The trauma is closely linked to a “major news story from the 70s”. “My godfather's daughter died in a nightclub fire, on 5-7, at Saint-Laurent-du-Pont [in Isère, editor’s note]. I was little, and the stories left their mark on me”, émentions the one who claims to have only been to a nightclub twice in her life “always glued to the emergency exits”.

Isabelle Nanty: this family drama that deeply affected her

In 2017, Isabelle Nanty faced a terrible drama. Both of his parents died within a few months of each other. The shock had been immense. “My mother, who had never spoken to us Norwegian, could no longer speak French when my father died”,  recalls the actress in an episode of the podcast Pause.

She continues: “Luckily we had learned Norwegian with our grandmother and our cousins, because she, she had not passed it on to us”.  Isabelle Nanty has in turn become mother despite a fertility problem. She adopted a little girl of Chinese origin, Tallulah, in 2004.
