Des clients énervés de la fermeture à 18h pour le 24 décembre, de leur supermarché Carrefour à Échirolles (Isère), secouent les grilles de ce dernier pour protester. Les forces de l’ordre ont dû intervenir.

On this Christmas Eve, the Carrefour supermarket in Échirolles in Isère closed its doors at 6 p.m. for the occasion.

The entrance gates then began to lower 20 minutes before closing time, to allow customers present in the supermarket to finish their shopping, but also to prevent new people from entering.

Angry customers

Customers, angry at not being able to do their last Christmas shopping, began to violently shake the store gates, according to the Dauphiné Libéré.

Tensions quickly rose with the supermarket security guards coming to restore some order in front of the entrance. The police even had to intervene to stop the crowd of disgruntled people.

No customers were arrested that evening, and no one was injured in the incident.
