L’engin n’avait encore jamais été observé. Ces derniers jours des internautes ont partagé des vidéos d’un avion de combat militaire volant dans le ciel chinois.

On social media this Thursday, December 26, we can see videos of a mysterious military fighter plane flying in the Chinese sky, near the city of Chengdu, where a major military industry is located. A machine that has never been observed before. On the side of Chinese officials, no official communication has been announced.

A world first ?

According to the specialized media The War Zone, quoted by Géo, it could be one of the first sixth-generation military aircraft in the world. In 2017, official media announced a program to develop sixth-generation military fighter jets.

The aircraft would be a military “stealth” craft and would be rather similar to the previous generation model from a design point of view. However, its precise characteristics are not known. The number “36” on the plane could suggest that it could be named J-36, following the J-20, and corresponding to the Chinese development program, known until today as “J-XX”.

According to some hypotheses, the choice of revealing a test during the day would show that its development is very advanced, for others the choice of December 26 would be a tribute to the birthday of the former Chinese leader Mao Zedong. Many questions remain about the plane that was seen, in particular its military capabilities, but it is “very likely that China wanted this plane to be visible at that time”.
