The list of the last two qualifying matches for the Women's Eurobasket was released this Monday, January 6, with two players from Lattes-Montpellier.

Jacques Commères (Performance and Team Director for France), Céline Dumerc (General Manager of the French Women's Team) and Jean-Aimé Toupane (coach of the French Women's Team) have decided to call up 16 players for the next gathering in February, as part of the last two qualifying matches for Euro 2025. Les Bleues will face Ireland on Thursday, February 6 at 7:15 p.m. at the Colisée de Chalon-sur-Saône, then the Israeli team on Sunday, February 9 in Riga (Latvia).

Rabot, première

With a record of four wins in as many matches, the Tricolores are well on their way to qualifying, and will have to definitively validate their ticket for Euro 2025 on the occasion of these two matches. Still injured, Marine Johannès will not be operational for the next gathering. In agreement with the National Technical Director and the staff of the French Women's Team, Gabby Williams will also be absent for these two matches (compelling personal reasons).

On the other hand, two BLMA players have been called up, namely playmaker Romane Berniès (31 years old, 57 caps) and winger Garance Rabot (22 years old). This is the first time that the latter has been called up to Les Bleus, a reward for her good start to the season with Les Gazelles.
