- The case raises questions about media versus judicial judgment, leaving Slimane presumed innocent.
The new Enfoirés show is taking shape. From Tuesday 14 to Monday 20 January, around forty artists will perform for the benefit of the Restos du Cœur at the Sud de France Arena in Pérols, in Hérault. This year, however, the singer Slimane should not be present.
Indeed, according to information from the Parisien, the man who is accused of sexual assault and harassment has not been invited on stage. “Unofficially, the Restos du Cœur have excluded him this year so as not to make a fuss” revealed the daily. A shock for his fans since Slimane has been participating in Les Enfoirés since 2019 and even wrote the anthem in 2021.

On Wednesday, January 8, the Slimane affair was discussed on the Europe 1 set. A listener then contacted Pascal Praud to express his discontent. “I find it pathetic, he hasn’t even been tried yet” he denounced.
Faced with his anger, the host tried to temper the situation. “I don’t know about these cases, but we don’t sexually assault the people we work with” he first indicated. Pascal Praud then tried to be humorous by saying that he had “put a stop” to those who had tried with him, before finally withdrawing his joke.
Pascal Praud takes the example of the Ary Abittan affair
For Pascal Praud, the Slimane affair is “complex” and it is complicated to oppose the organization’s decision. The host then took the example of Ary Abittan, who participated in Les Enfoirés between 2019 and 2021. “Indeed, there was a complaint against him, in the same way, and it goes in the direction you say. The profession turned against him. And in the end, today, he was exonerated” he admitted to his listener.
Despite this particular situation, Pascal Praud was keen to explain: “There is the media and popular tribunal, and there is the legal or judicial tribunal”. A sentence that did not convince the listener, who hopes that the singer can “get over it”. As a reminder, Slimane is still presumed innocent of the facts of which he is accused.
