Remember, in 2022, when the group celebrated the 10th anniversary of its mobile offer, Free Mobile committed to not increasing the prices of its two mobile plans until 2027. A promise that seemed a little too ambitious for some, but at the start of 2025, the operator has still not increased its prices, and confirms once again that this will not be the case before 2027.
We're not budging a cent at Free
Despite a context that is inflationary to say the least and the heavy investments made to deploy 5G in all territories, Free Mobile confirms once again that its €2 Package and Free Package at €19.99/month will not see their prices change this year, or even in 2026.

200% Deposit Bonus up to €3,000 180% First Deposit Bonus up to $20,000“Free is the only operator to have taken such a commitment” proudly explains the Iliad group. Like its competitors, Free has continued to regularly add new services to its Free 5G Plan, but without any additional cost, for both new and existing subscribers. Last October, the data package increased from 250 GB to 300 GB (which, apart from a publicity stunt, is not really useful in reality).
” This commitment is both courageous and unprecedented and is more in line with our strategy than ever. Fixed prices, simplicity and generosity: true to our values, we continue to innovate to remain a real anti-inflation weapon and protect consumers' purchasing power! ” declared Nicolas Thomas, CEO of Free.
On the network side, Free Mobile claims to have 5G coverage of nearly 95% of the population by the end of 2024, enough to display “the largest 5G network in France in terms of number of sites“.
At the end of last year, Free attacked (again) the Internet box market, with a new offer tailored for the connected generation. The operator unveiled its 5G Box equipped with WiFi 7, offered without commitment. A solution that could well become the new standard for students looking for flexibility and performance.
