Stéphane Plaza faces justice. On Thursday, January 9, the famous real estate agent appeared before the Paris Criminal Court. Indeed, he is accused of “habitual physical and/or psychological violence by a cohabitant”. Acts that allegedly took place between 2018 and 2022 against two former partners.

The trial, initially scheduled for August, had been postponed due to Stéphane Plaza’s “psychological fragility”. This time, the host was fit to appear. He arrived accompanied by his two lawyers, masters Carlo Alberto Brusa and Hélène Plumet.

According to one of Stéphane Plaza's accusers, her former partner was violent on several occasions. In April 2022, he allegedly broke one of her fingers and dislocated two others. During the trial, Me Hélène Plumet wanted to return to the accuser's story.

The lawyer asked a series of questions and then approached the young woman's face while discussing Stéphane Plaza's alleged violence. An act denounced by the civil party. Finally, Me Hélène Plumet continued by questioning the complainant about sexual abuse suffered during childhood and the violence from a former partner.

The host's former partner collapses during the trial

Stéphane Plaza's lawyer wanted to discuss the complainant's past in order to defend the star host of M6. According to Vincent Vantighem, senior reporter at BFMTV, she asked him: “You say that your suffering is only due to Mr. Plaza ?”. A question to which she responded with: “I don’t need a past to suffer from the situation with Mr. Plaza”.

Shortly after this response, Stéphane Plaza’s former partner collapsed 60~/strong>. If the lawyer pushed the envelope by asking her question again, she was then interrupted by the president. “I think she answered. She said ‘no’! ” he said. Faced with this tense situation, the plaintiff’s lawyers went to comfort her and the president decided to suspend the hearing for 15 minutes.
