IN BRIEF

  • On December 30, Nagui interrupted Slimane's song in “N'oubliez pas les paroles” following an investigation for “aggravated sexual harassment”.
  • During a concert on January 8 at the Accor Arena, Slimane responded to Nagui with an ironic remark while performing his song “Paname”.
  • Despite the accusations and exclusion from projects like Les Enfoirés, Slimane continues his tour with the support of his fans.

Nagui has clearly attracted Slimane's wrath. On December 30, the host presented a new number of N’oubliez pas les paroles on France 2. During the show, Benoît had the choice between the songs Nuit Sauvage by the group Les Avions or Paname by Slimane.

To help the Maestro make his choice, excerpts from both songs were broadcast. While the first lasted for several seconds, the second was quickly interrupted by Nagui. “That’s it, that’s enough” he said after just one second. A decision probably motivated by the fact that Slimane is under investigation for “sexual harassment aggravated by the use of a digital or electronic medium”.

Slimane responds to Nagui in the middle of a concert

After Slimane's song was cut off, Benoît wanted to know why Nagui had acted like that. The host then replied: “We'll let others decide what to think…“. A sentence that apparently didn't please the singer.

On Wednesday, January 8, Slimane performed at a concert at the Accor Arena Bercy in Paris as part of his Cupidon Tour. After a few weeks of hiatus, the artist reunited with his fans for an evening. When performing his song Paname, he nevertheless took the time to announce: “I’m going to sing a song that Nagui likes!”. A dig sent directly to Mélanie Page’s husband.

The singer is going through a complicated period

Since the accusations of sexual harassment against him, Slimane has been in turmoil. Indeed, several personalities have turned their backs on him. He should also soon be questioned by the police to give his version of events.

While his tour is still ongoing and his audience is still there, the coach of The Voice has been evicted from several projects. From Tuesday 14 to Monday 20 January, for example, he was supposed to participate in the Enfoirés concerts. According to Le Parisien, the Restos du Cœur have however decided to exclude him this year “so as not to make waves”. A real blow for the singer.
