Strong refreeze
The station is seeing a strong refreeze on the heights of Nord-Pas-de-Calais and the Somme, favored by a cold nocturnal air mass.“Slippery phenomena are expected in these departments. Particular vigilance is required when traveling”, underlines Météo France. Similar conditions are expected on the borders of neighboring departments.

The snow is on the ground in these two departments. The minimum temperatures during the episode are between -4 and -6°C in this area.
Six departments are on orange flood alert. These are Oise, Seine-Maritime, Val-d'Oise, Eure, Calvados and Ille-et-Vilaine. Vendée and Deux-Sèvres have been put on yellow alert again.

Significant flooding
Significant flooding is expected in particular on the Dives, the middle and lower Orne, the Epte, the Seiche and the middle Vilaine, the upper Vilaine and the Meu.
Flooding is possible, warns the national bulletin on the government website Vigicrues. Traffic conditions may be difficult across the network and disruptions may affect rail transport. Power cuts may occur. Dikes may be weakened or submerged.
