FC Barcelona won the Spanish Super Cup by crushing Real Madrid 5-2, with a sublime goal from young prodigy Lamine Yamal on Sunday in Jeddah.

Kylian Mbappé quickly opened the scoring for Real Madrid (5th). But Barça stunned the Madrilenians by scoring five goals in 36 minutes through Lamine Yamal (22nd), Lewandowski (36th s.p.), Raphina (39th, 48th) and Baldé (45th+10).

Shortly after Barcelona goalkeeper Szczesny was sent off for bringing down Mbappé, Rodrygo reduced the deficit with a free kick (60th) but the defending champions were unable to reverse the match.
