A coach from the Saint-Maurice-l’Exil football club (ALSM), located in Isère, was indicted and placed in pretrial detention for rape and sexual assault on minors.
This Monday, January 13, a coach from the Saint-Maurice-l’Exil football club was indicted and placed in pretrial detention. He was arrested at his home, following a report from a mother. The coach had had an “inappropriate attitude”towards his child.
Rapes and sexual assaults on minors
According to information from Dauphiné Libéré< /em>, the coach is suspected of having committed several rapes and sexual assaults on minors under 15 years old.

The events took place “between 2017 and 2024”, says Olivier Rabot, the public prosecutor of Vienna. The 32-year-old man had been working as a coach for about ten years at the club.
“Parties organized at his home”
According to the Vienna prosecutor's office, several rapes and sexual assaults were committed during “parties organized at his home to which he sometimes invited young teenagers from the club”.
The coach has admitted to most of the facts he is accused of, says the Vienna public prosecutor. The club president believes that “it's going to be difficult to recover from”. The football club will set up a psychological unit.
