The French handball team will face Kuwait this Thursday, January 16 in Porec (Croatia), for their second match of the preliminary round for the 2025 Handball World Cup.

Forty-eight hours after dominating Qatar in a big way (37-19), in the opening of the World Cup, the Blues will follow up, this Thursday at 6 p.m., against Kuwait.

The coach Guillaume Gille should still take advantage of this already decided match – a gulf separates the two selections – to multiply the rotations and the tries.

“The competition is still long”

“It is necessary to prepare for this match with the utmost seriousness because the competition is still long”, warns Yohan Delattre, the assistant coach of the Blues.

The match between France and Kuwait will be shown on beIN SPORTS 1 at 6 p.m.
