But new elements reported by a friend of the victim have relaunched this scandalous case. Misha Slovenac provides astonishing details on the French star's nocturnal activities at that time.
Compromising photos of Alain Delon
According to the revelations of Misha Slovenac, close to Stevan Markovic, Alain Delon participated at the time in very special evenings in a Saint-Cloud brothel run by crooks. This house included in particular “a screening room for pornographic films and a kind of boudoir enclosed by large curtains“.

In some of the photos, Alain Delon appears “naked with couples who are also naked“. Others allegedly show “only men, including one where Delon is seen lying on one of the sofas in the bar and another where he kisses a man“. During these libertine evenings, the star was often accompanied by his wife Nathalie but remained “often a spectator” according to Slovenac.
A credible motive for the murder of Markovic ?
This unpublished information sheds new light on the Markovic affair. As a reminder, the latter had been found dead in October 1968, shortly after leaving the Parisian home of Alain Delon where he was staying. Very quickly, the possibility of an attempt at blackmail was raised.
Markovic is said to have had compromising documents, including photos of sexual games, which he intended to sell to the star. For journalist Hervé Gattegno, who reveals these new elements in his book, this testimony “provides the most credible motive that has been available since 1968” to explain the bodyguard's death. Without being proof, it reinforces the suspicions surrounding the iconic actor in this case that has never been resolved by justice.
