In Montpellier, the Dasa group was born just one year ago. “It first welcomed women before becoming mixed six months ago,” explains one of the co-founders. It welcomes five people on average, every Thursday evening, in a room at the Beaux-Arts.”
“We come to this group because we have an emotional and/or sexual dependency and especially because we recognize that we suffer from it and want to stop. One of the signs is if we feel like we have lost control of our life because of our sexual and/or romantic behavior, and feel trapped by it. Or if we feel an emotional and/or sexual void that is impossible to fill. During the meetings, everyone can talk freely about their dependency, without intervention or judgment from others. Anonymity allows to interact freely.”
