The Béziers store defended the candidacy of this association that helps homeless migrants.
This Wednesday, January 22, the Castorama of Béziers, on behalf of the Castorama foundation, presented a check for €11,000 to the association 100 pour 1 toit du Narbonnais. The latter, which works to accommodate migrants and has around a hundred members, was represented by Léo Pichon.“We responded to a call for projects from the Castorama Foundation and our project was selected,” he explained. The project in question, entitled “Al-phonce,” involves the renovation of a building in the city center of Narbonne comprising four apartments. “In return, the owner authorizes us to house people in difficulty for a minimum period of four years.”

Also present, the owner in question, Nicolas Roux, confided that he had accepted the operation out of sympathy with the association's fight: “I've wanted to do this for a long time, and if it can make others want to do it, it can only be beneficial“, he said, adding that “the building was already occupied by the tenants”.
The association 100 pour 1 toit was selected among other structures by the director of Castorama in Béziers Arnaud Florain. It was he who then defended this candidacy at the level of the national foundation. The money from this operation will be used to finance part of the renovation work on the building. “We are going to redo all the painting, put up partitions and turn a kitchen into a bathroom”, indicated Léo Pichon.
