Rural Coordination sets up a “dealing point” in front of the market

This Saturday morning, members of the Rural Coordination took action in front of the Mende market to denounce the comments of an OFB agent, who had compared farmers to drug dealers.

“Since we are drug dealers, we will do our new job!” In response to the comments of an agent of the French Office for Biodiversity (OFB), who had compared farmers to drug dealers, members of the Rural Coordination (CR) set up “a drug dealing point” this Saturday, January 25, in front of the Mende market. The farmers invited passers-by to take a quiz and offered a packet of flour made in Lozère to the participants. The co-president of the CR, Jean-Luc Boulet, guarantees it: “It's good stuff.“

On January 16, the Young Farmers (JA) also reacted by depositing manure in front of the OFB.
