After two years of absence, Florent Pagny is once again a coach in The Voice on TF1. In the portrait of 50' Inside on TF1 this Saturday, January 25, the singer returned to his return. “I came back to my dressing room and I felt like I had never left.” he said. His return éwas synonymous with a reunion.
“I missed two seasons but in 14 years, the team has always remained the same. You have the same looks from the same people you like and like. These are people I work with and who are happy to see me again. So you say: Hello à everyone, I'm very happy to be here.” Florent Pagny laughs.

On the set of his last season of The Voice on TF1 in early 2022, he learned of his lung cancer diagnosis. “It's not something which I think, I think about it when I talk about it. At one point, it took up so much space that after 3 years, you don't want people to bring you bad luck.” Indeed, talking about his cancer is not spontaneous for the juror of The Voice.
Now, the singer wants to move on. “You want to say to talk about something else. If it wasn't going well, I wouldn't be here and I wouldn't express myself in this way.Every time, I'm asked if it's going a certain way and I forget, I wonder why I'm asked if it's going like that.” explains the singer who wants to move forward.
The singer can fall back sick
However, Florent Pagny can fall ill again. “It's a moment in life that you don't choose. You know you have the sword of Damocles over your head and you have to check every three months, you have to look. It's been a year and three months since I will check. I'm waiting for the next one, we can't be certain, that's the problem of this disease.” declares the interpreter of Savoir aimer.
“We call it the crab, because it remains hooked, we don't know when it can come back.“ he says in his interview on TF1.”Someone told me that he had been quiet for three years and that it came back. We know it but we don't live with it, we talk about it because you connect me to it but I don't think about it. Fortunately because we only think about it when things go badly.”
