This is a case that has caused a lot of noise. For several months, Slimane has been the target of an investigation. Complaints of assault and sexual harassment have been filed against the 35-year-old singer. Last week, the artist was heard in custody view as specified by AFP this Sunday, February 26.

Gilles Verdez's revelations on the Slimane affair

In TPMP, Gilles Verdez then revealed why custody view of the artist remained secret: “By having authorized this hearing on Monday, justice allowed him to leave for his international tour“, he explained. The accusations against the singer for several months

Indeed, the artist is allegedly accused by the first complainant of having sent messages and videos of a pornographic nature. For his part, the second complainant said to have mentioned sexual assaults. The scene allegedly took place in front of witnesses according to the complainant. Since the media coverage of the case, Slimane has always refuted these accusations. The singer, who remains silent, benefits from the presumption of innocence before the results of the investigation.

Slimane had been revealed by the talent show The Voice on TF1 in 2016. He won the show. In 2020, he came out on top sales, at the time of his duet with the singer Vitaa, with their opus Versus. That year, they also won a Victoire de la musique, in the original song category. On November 2, he also won the trophy for French-speaking male artist for the NRJ Music Awards 2024.
