After three months of fierce competition, it was Marine who won the 11th season of the Star Academy, against Ebony, during the grand finale, Saturday January 25, 2025. Three days later, the young woman from the North of France answered questions from Europe 1. She returned to the moment when Nikos Aliagas announced that she was the big winner.
“It was very strange. I was relieved, like liberated, but also surprised. This victory represents the culmination of my adventure, it's just incredible. But Ebony deserved to win just as much“, she confided. The two young women were not spared from the criticism on social networks. “I found it horrible, especially for Ebony, because she is the one who is discriminated against based on her skin color. I don't suffer from that. I find it unacceptable whether it's towards Ebony, or anyone else.”

With Ebony, they decided to support each other in the face of the wave of hate. While they didn't really mention all the words they read about themselves on social media, they told themselves that they “éwere both above çthat and that we shouldn't pay attention to it“. “We know each other very well, we know what we are worth and what we were like at the château.”
Among the many people who have assured to support Marine, there are some political figures such as Xavier Bertrand, the president of Hauts-de-France, and Sébastien Chenu, RN deputy. Our colleagues wanted to know what it represented for her. “I don't do politics. What interests me is music. I don't want to be associated with that. If we can avoid using me politically, that suits me perfectly“, she thus launched.
Marine hopes to never have to return to her job as a dentist
So that Marine had just finished her studies to become a dentist, she only wishes one thing today: never to practice this profession. “I really hope to be able to leave the dentist profession on hold… forever! Of course, it's a great experience, and I've always wanted to study health, but it's not a passion like music.”
