It's official, Louane is France's candidate for Eurovision 2025. More than ten years after her participation in The Voice, the young woman is getting ready to shine in Basel, Switzerland. On Saturday, February 1, she spoke at this regarding the 8pm news on France 2.
Questioned by Laurent Delahousse about her participation, Esmée's mother revealed that she accepted “just before Christmas”. If she had refused to participate in Eurovision in the past, she finally changed her mind. “It's a very important moment, it's not a decision to be taken lightly”, she explained.

By agreeing to participate in Eurovision, Louane wants to pay “a form of tribute” to her mother, died of cancer in 2014. The singer revealed that the competition held an important place in her family. “It's something that rocked my childhood and that my mother was absolutely a fan of.
