Due to a Padel tournament, Cyril Hanouna did not present his shows on Friday, January 31, 2025 on Europe 1 and C8. The host returned to the air on Monday, February 3, 2025. And he seemed particularly happy. Indeed, he had the joy of witnessing during the weekend the failure of one of his sworn enemies: Louis Boyard.

In fact, the former columnist of Cyril Hanouna was a candidate in the municipal election of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges. Arriving in the head of the first round, Louis Boyard thought he would win against the two other candidates from the right. Especially after the withdrawal of the second list from the left. Unfortunately for him, it was Kristell Niasme who was éelected mayor of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges.

Cyril Hanouna “é two fingers away from coming to live in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges”

“I have a heroine today, it's Kristell Niasme, the new mayor. We're going to call the town hall, the bars, the hair salons and the whole town. Today, it's a special Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, a special defeat of Louis Boyard”, launched Cyril Hanouna when going on air on Monday, February 3, 2025 on Europe 1. The host then added that some people had told him over the weekend that:”Louis Boyard is going to take a huge beating in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges“.

“You are one of our favorite town halls in France. (…) Bravo to you, we love you. (…) You know, I am this close to coming to live in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges”, also let go Cyril Hanouna during his conversation with Kristell Niasme on Europe 1. The host once again returned with undisguised pleasure to the defeat of Louis Boyard the same day on C8.

The host let go of Louis Boyard in Touche pas à mon poste

“The bad news is that he will stay in the Assembly, but he will not be in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges. I embrace all the residents of Villeneuve-Saint-Georges who must be relieved today. (…) Imagine, you arrive home and your mayor is Louis Boyard. You don't even want to go and make a civil status form”, declared Cyril Hanouna in Touche pas à mon poste.

“Imagine, you have to get married in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges and it's Louis Boyard who has to marry you… (…) Louis Boyard is no longer in Villeneuve-Saint-Georges, where will he be ? In any case, what is sure is that Louis Boyard must be celebrating his defeat at the moment in a bar. Louis, if you look at us, we are not with you“, Cyril Hanouna finally concluded.
