Artus: the director of his next film “lost 100,000 euros” because of him

“Yes, there are financiers who are… But because it's still this thing of these two families of cinema. Comedy and arthouse cinema. Where we don't have the right to mix and all that. And so yes, there was a financier who had put in 100,000 euros. For a budget like this film, which is 2 million euros, it's huge. When Antoine (the director, editor's note) said I was in the film. He said, if there is Artus, I will withdraw, because it is not his cinema, it is not his thing“, Artus revealed in particular.

“And Antoine said, but there will be Artus. Because that's it, he is a friend, we love each other very much. And I think he likes me as an actor. I hope so. And so, he withdrew, he lost 100,000 euros, but he got me. But that was before the release of Un p'tit truc en plus. So there, I think that the financier suddenly… It was before, after he was happy.
