Traditionally, the proceeds from the last lottery organized by the Russan – Terres de Rouvière neighborhood committee are donated to a Nîmes charity. Thus, the president of the committee, Bernard Astier, had the honor of presenting a check for 700 euros to the two volunteer representatives of the National League against Cancer, Gard committee, Rachel Clément and Nicole Gay. “The donations made to the league help advance research and support sick people and their loved ones,” the two volunteers recalled, warmly thanking the organizing committee. A good hundred residents came together for the pleasure of playing, but also to have a good time with friends and neighbors, in a friendly atmosphere. For this last lottery of the season, fourteen quines were on the program with particularly attractive prizes, such as vouchers in the neighborhood shops, gift baskets, hams and other sausages, thanks in particular to partnerships with the Grande pharmacie Saint-Luc and the greengrocer Au P’tit Panier de Lydia.

Before taking his leave, the president of the Russan neighborhood committee reminded everyone of a date to note in their diary: Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m., the day of the traditional general meeting.
