The FDSEA and Young Farmers list wins the elections of the Gard Chamber of Agriculture

According to the first results of the elections of the Gard Chamber of Agriculture, which were released this Thursday, February 6, it is the FNSEA-JA list that largely wins the 1st college – that of farm managers –, with 47.13% of the votes (out of 1,731 voters). They thus win 13 seats out of 20. Just behind, the Rural Coordination gathers 25.18% of the votes in this same college, with two seats. In third place is the Peasant Confederation (19.55% and two seats). And finally, the Changeons de cap (Modef) list achieved a score of 8.14% of the votes and one seat.

Magali Saumade could leave for a new term

Elections held from January 15 to 31, 2025, which brought together 39.16% participation. And according to the Chamber of Agriculture, “unless there is a reversal of the situation, Magali Saumade, the only candidate on the majority list, should be re-elected to the presidency next March”.
