As the scheduled stop of C8 approaches big steps, Le Parisien has announced that the show will be broadcast for the last time on February 27, the day before the channel's effective closure. As for what comes next, for the moment, it's a bit unclear, even if Cyril Hanouna tries to be reassuring. 

C8 shutdown: this less than reassuring email sent to the teams

In a press release from the general manager of H2O Production sent to employees, it is notably stated: “As things stand, on the evening of February 27, 2025, our company will no longer have any audiovisual programs on the air, nor any activity, and thus no longer the possibility of calling on your professional, human and artistic qualities. We therefore regret having to recommend that you do not hesitate to seize any opportunity that may arise. you”.

A rather uninviting email, which goes against the words of Cyril Hanouna, who assured us that TPMP will indeed have a sequel with the same teams. “We are obliged to send this email to the teams, it is within the law (…) it’s just a warning”, the host explained on Thursday. He specified that he had warned many of his colleagues not to worry about the content of the email.

“It's the procedure”, insists Cyril Hanouna, adding that today, the only uncertainty for the upcoming project remains the date. “We're doing everything so that it's March 3,” assures the host. In that case, the sequel to TPMP might not see the light of day before September. “We don't know if we're going to start it in March or September (…) We want to do things well and we don't know if we'll really be ready for March”, he admitted on Europe 1 a few hours earlier. 

As he had already assured in We're walking on our heads, Cyril Hanouna renewed his words of appeasement. “Don't worry, everything is fine. We have plenty of possibilities, we even have too many possibilities”, he says. The host goes even further: “I can't tell you everything, I'm bound by certain secrets. And know this, it will certainly be a blessing in disguise”. It's as if he's finally getting a taste for it the stop of C8…
