On Saturday, December 7, the Saint-Jacques retirement home organized its Christmas market to benefit the association Vivre à la maison de retraite. The stands offered Christmas decorations artistically created by the residents supported by the facilitators, gift ideas, customizable pens, craft creations and inflatable games and duck fishing for children.
This Christmas market is motivating for the residents, they get involved in the preparations and then in the sale on the day.
This festive time becomes a time for intergenerational meetings. The very pretty young lady, magnificently dressed in a green dress reminiscent of the fir trees of the Vosges forests, posed with the residents for a moment of sharing and joy that warmed hearts.
