Barely 33 years old and she is already at the head of her own company. And this is no coincidence given the determination that seems to drive her. It must be said that Mathilde Ignatoff, founder and partner of the Saint-Côme Avocats firm, takes every experience as an opportunity.
So when she was offered the opportunity to join the Réseau Entreprendre Occitanie Méditerranée, which brings together business leaders, she didn't hesitate.
“A major impact on my life”
Four years ago, when a friend invited her to an evening of the association, the lawyer jumped at the chance to discover what would, according to her, have “a major impact” in her life.
“I immediately understood that this was the place where I had to be: by accompanying other leaders, I could help them, but also learn a lot through our exchanges and discussions to become the leader I wanted to be.”
Today, she has even become the ambassador of this network which brings together hundreds of business leaders in five departments and whose objective and slogan is: “To create jobs, let's create employers.”

The principle of the network to help future entrepreneurs
The mission of this network is to support managers in creating or taking over businesses in the local area. The principle is simple: future entrepreneurs (self-employed or others) present their project to a committee made up of more “seasoned” managers.
Each year, the winners selected by the committee will be able to benefit from zero-interest loans as well as human support for two years.
The Entreprendre Network in a few figures
To summarize the Entreprendre Occitanie Méditerranée Network, it is:
– 180 creators or buyers since 2008 including 34 winners in 2023.
– 350 business leaders, volunteers and members.
– 2,186 jobs created or saved, including 280 in 2023.
– 5.6 million euros lent to the winners since 2008, including 708,000 euros in 2023.
A community of support
The experience of each other is thus shared, which allows entrepreneurs to face difficulties that they had not necessarily seen come.
Moreover, the exchanges benefit all members – old and new. “We feel less alone when faced with certain problems, we can ask for advice, help on questions that we all go through in our respective careers.”
Through her profession in business law, she has expertise in certain areas, which can be beneficial to others. “Everyone complements each other,” she emphasizes.
“This network is more than a group of entrepreneurs, it's a community and even a family. There is a very human side that really touched me. I found a place of resources, inspiration and mutual support there.”
Full of energy
She is especially enthusiastic about the emulation she draws from it. “Our meetings are real bursts of energy. They allow you to meet new entrepreneurs and discover their ideas, their passions… It’s fascinating and inspiring.”
And to add: “We meet people of all ages and from all sectors of activity, from the manager of Burger King, to the young creative craftsman or the entrepreneur in artificial intelligence.”
Mathilde Ignatoff preaches all the advantages of the network in the hope of convincing other managers to join it.
