A 60-year-old woman was seriously injured Friday in Quebec after being violently attacked by her son, who was armed with a weapon white. The suspect, aged 27, was arrested and will face a charge of attempted murder.

L&amp ;#x27;attack allegedly occurred around 8 p.m. in a residence on rue de Repentigny in the Saint-Sacrement district.
