A new cycle path overcomes the obstacle of the four-lane road in Juvignac

“This segment connects the southern third of the town, which is on the other side of the N 109, to the city centre of Juvignac”, explained Mayor Jean-Luc Savy.

New track, new sidewalks…

A 300-metre two-way cycle path has been built, new sidewalks have appeared, the roadway has been resurfaced and the storm water system renovated.

The cost of the work amounts to €819,000, financed by Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole at 66% and the City of Juvignac at 34%.

In conclusion, Michaël Delafosse discussed the complementarity with other forms of mobility by 2030. “The T4A bustram that will serve the west of the metropolis will connect tram line 5 to Genneveaux, and the T4B will use the COM expressway to join tram line 3”, concluded the president of the Metropolis.
