Still suffering from a staff of doctors who are too low, the Alès hospital is limiting access to its emergency rooms on the night of Monday 6 to Tuesday 7 January.

The announcement is now routine. Due to insufficient medical staff and despite efforts to find replacement doctors, the Alès hospital center is forced to temporarily reorganize the reception and admissions of the public to the Emergency Department on Monday, January 6, 2025 from 5:30 p.m. to Tuesday, January 7 at 5:30 a.m.

Avoiding overcrowding

During this period, the population is advised to contact the 15 Center in advance. The public presenting to the emergency department will nevertheless be received. They will be subject to on-site regulation with possible reorientation depending on their situation. Vital emergencies continue to be provided by the Alès Emergency Mobile Resuscitation Service (Smur) 24/7 within the framework of regulation by the 15 Center.

The reception of pregnant women remains maintained 24/7, as well as the management of gynecological emergencies.
