The Secours Catholique team in Lodève organized a reception for its beneficiaries, this Thursday, January 23, in its premises at 21, rue des Genêts.

“This is the first time that we have held this festive and friendly meeting around wishes for the new year”, indicates the manager of the structure Marie-Agnés Sanchez accompanied by several active volunteers of the association. “It is the generosity of the students of the Saint-Guilhem school in Clermont-l'Hérault that triggered everything. They made and offered us nice packages that we can give to our beneficiaries.”

The Secours Catholique has a cloakroom and a shop on its premises. With the help of social welfare, it helps to help the most deprived and to welcome people of all nationalities, including Ukrainian families. “We try to help with our modest means, thanks to tax-deductible donations and two big sales per year at the Halle Dardé in June and October which allow us to bring in a little money”, recalls Marie-Agnès Sanchez.
