L’association des Képis Pescalunes sort son calendrier 2025 avec différentes personnalités posant avec des enfants.

The Képis Pescalunes association unveiled its 2025 calendar on Monday, December 30, at Montpellier City Hall. For its 7th edition, the solidarity calendar, which is generally dedicated to diabetes, is taking on a new challenge. The association is now expanding to support research into pediatric cancers, particularly radiotherapy.

Supporting children through this ordeal is also highlighted with the initiative of the Val d'Aurelle regional cancer institute (ICM) and its Miraki robot. “We want to create a real glimmer of hope for children. Let's dream our lives, live our dreams”, as Christophe Caumes, spokesperson for the Képis Pescalunes, likes to say. “This calendar is unique because it is bright. Made by and for children. They are stars to light up the night and a sun to light up the day.”

Giroud as godfather

The year 2024 was placed under the sign of sport with the holding of the Olympic Games in Paris. The 2025 calendar therefore pays tribute to these athletes belonging to the army and medalists this summer. Among them, the judoka Clarisse Agbegnenou, the saber fighter Manon Apithy-Brunet and the archer Lisa Barbelin.

Montpellier athletes will also be present for this new year. The MHR rugby players (Vincent, Chalureau, Verhaeghe), the MHSC, the MHSC volleyball, the MHB handball players (Simonet, Bolzinger), the BLMA Gazelles (Rabot, Naigre), not forgetting the sponsor Olivier Giroud.

Several tens of thousands of euros hoped for

After a very nice success in 2023 with around 45,000 euros collected, the association hopes to do as well without setting a target precise.

The Képis Pescalunes will be present this Saturday, January 4 (4:30 p.m.) during the match between the MHR and Bayonne at the GGL Stadium. They will also be present soon at the BLMA.

A distribution will be made at the National Assembly, the Senate and ministries.

Apart from sports personalities, we find actors like Frédéric Diefenthal, who plays in the series Here it all begins, as well as beauty queens. Omnipresent since the beginning, several regional Misses from recent years are once again taking part, such as Aurore Kichenin, first runner-up Miss France and runner-up Miss World in 2017.

Usually every two years, the association does not rule out making a calendar next year to celebrate the association's twentieth anniversary, with a major personality…

Available for sale (€7) at the Képis Pescalunes boutique.
