Southern Ontario and Quebec are facing a mild spell in this weekend. But Environment Canada warns that winter temperatures will return on Sunday and the following days.

Friday, Environment Canada recorded several records for southern Ontario.

In Val-d'Or, the temperature was 4.4 degrees Celsius on Friday, almost two degrees warmer than the old record of 2.8 recorded in 1966.
