In recent days, gray skies have been dominant in France, with a significant lack of sunshine since the beginning of the month. What to expect for this three-day weekend?
The last few days have been marked by significant waves of fog and grey skies. The Pays de la Loire and Centre-Val de Loire regions have been the most affected. Between October 27 and November 5, there was only 30 minutes of sunshine in Orléans and 1 hour 20 minutes in Nantes, compared to the usual 25 to 30 hours. Even in Paris, since the beginning of November, the capital has only experienced 8 hours and 27 minutes of sunshine. As another long weekend looms with Monday, November 11, a public holiday, will the weather clear up to allow us to enjoy an autumn getaway ?

Nothing is less certain. The weekend will start with a disturbed day on Saturday, according to La Chaine Météo . Rain will thus affect the southwest of the country and Corsica. It could even turn into a storm locally. If you are heading to these regions, an umbrella will therefore not be too much. In the rest of the country, the weather will be overcast. To find the sun, you will have to choose the mountains. Good news all the same: temperatures will be mild for the season with between 5 and 15 degrees in the morning and between 9 and 19 degrees in the afternoon.

Sunday, the weather will calm down, but the grayness will still be dominant. Some isolated drizzle could be noticeable and fog will be frequent from the southwest to the northeast while the southeast will see the arrival of the sun. Temperatures will remain roughly the same as the day before. It is finally for the Armistice Day that the weather should be a little better. In the north, the fog banks and mist will be persistent, with a small risk of rain as well as a light north wind which could bring a feeling of freshness. The sun will, on the contrary, be persistent in the south, near the Mediterranean. Some clearings could, during the day, rise a little higher in France.
After such a long weekend, next week should be marked by a return of cold. According to the Météo France trends, "temperatures will drop throughout the week, and should drop below normal from Wednesday". However, little rain is expected.
