Selim Gallice, French champion in the Men’s Physique junior category, is preparing for the French Bodybuilding Championship which will take place on April 4, 5 and 6, 2025 in Martigues, then for the European Championship in early May, in Spain. In 2024, Selim Gallice was first in his category, he qualified internationally and participated in May 2024 in the European Championship in Santa Susana, Spain, where he came sixth in the competitions. He is part of the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB).

Selim was born in Montpellier 21 years ago, he is from Aimargues, he has had a sporting career since the age of 16 by training at the Musculoisirs association with coach Romain Germa; he then joined ABS sport gym in Montpellier with coach Louis Milane to follow a three-year bodybuilding prep course.

This sports club prepares athletes and helps them improve their technique so that they qualify for the various championships. There were 12 of them participating in the French championship in 2024 and three in the European championship.

Volunteer firefighter

Selim explains: “I do four months of preparation for the French and European championship, I start with a diet which is a strict regime that increases over the days until the competition; at the same time I do intense training and follow-up with my coach without interruption, it's 5 to 6 hours per week and 24 hours a day to have the condition of a high-level athlete. We eat, we sleep, we train during these four months of prep; we only live for that and the rest of the time also to confront ourselves with the best athletes in France.”

Selim is also a volunteer firefighter at the Vauvert barracks which he joined as a young firefighter from the age of 14 to 18, he continues his studies to obtain the state diploma of the Professional Certificate of Youth, Popular Education and Sport (BPJEPS) to become a sports educator.
