A true sacred monster of French cinema. Alain Delon unfortunately passed away at the age of 88 on Sunday, August 18, 2024. His funeral took place a few days later at his property in Douchy in the Loiret. The remains of the late actor rest in a vault in the chapel he had built on his estate. During his life, the actor had seen his name mentioned in the Markovic case.

For the record, Stevan Markovic was Alain Delon's Yugoslavian handyman. Having died 57 years ago, his murder remains unsolved to this day. However, Le Parisien reveals that a note, kept secret until now, was never added to the case file. In it, Misha Slovenac, a close friend of Stevan Markovic, reveals new details about the late actor.

Markovic case: Misha Slovenac confided in the subject of the blackmail of which Alain Delon was allegedly the victim

In this case, Stevan Markovic allegedly blackmailed Alain Delon. He threatened the actor with revealing photos taken during dirty games in which he had participated. “It had always seemed strange to investigators that a star of Alain Delon's level would be worried about the dissemination of a few intimate photos“, journalist Hervé Gattegno told the Parisien.

Concretely, this famous note indicates that Misha Slovenac gave more details concerning the photos at the origin of this blackmail. He explains in particular that the photos in question were taken in a “brothel” à Saint-Cloud. This one was “run by crooks, friends of Alain Delon“. This famous residence included a ground floor, a bar, a screening room for pornographic films. But also “a kind of closed boudoir by large hangings“.

Hervé Gattegno: “This testimony provides the most credible motive that has been available since 1968”

Moreover, Misha Slovenac also stated that the first floor of this house had five to six bedrooms. “On three or four (photos, editor's note). We see him naked with couples also naked. Five photos only represent men. Including one where we see Alain Delon lying on one of the sofas in the bar. And another where he kisses a man“, declared Stevan Markovic's close friend.

This testimony provides the most credible motive that we have had access to since 1968. We must of course be careful with this document since it has never been included in the file. But what is obvious is that there are many things that Alain Delon has not said. Did justice try to find out ? Did it not succeed, or did it not try because it did not want to ?“, added Hervé Gattegno on this subject.
