He had expressed the wish to spend his last days there. Alain Delon lived a large part of the year in Douchy, the house where he notably shared his life with Mireille Darc. The house extends over 120 hectares, away from prying eyes or potential photographers. Walls and a gate help to protect it from the curious. It is on the outskirts of the village of Douchy-Montcorbon, in the Gâtinais, that the actor Alain Delon chose to live. “Her last wish is to end her days in Douchy and she will be honored. My father is very attached to this house because he built it and lived there: each plot of Douchy resembles him, bears his mark. When Alain Delon moved to Douchy, the property was ravaged by a fire. The actor first undertakes to demolish the castle, then to dig a pond before having a brand new house built, completed by a new park. &Inside, there is a large dining room with a fireplace, a bar, an indoor swimming pool, a gym and even a games room equipped with pinball machines, a poker table and slot machines.
