We sometimes forget it, but Amazon is one of the major players in the tablet market and is sometimes among the Top 5 in this market, in the rankings of analysis firms such as IDC or Canalys. However, instead of competing with Apple, Samsung or Lenovo by developing ultra sophisticated products, Amazon has specialized in e-readers dedicated to reading, and which are extremely practical for this use.

This October, the e-commerce giant is beefing up its offering by unveiling a new generation of Kindle e-readers. And among the new products offered by it, . The particularity of this model is that it has a color screen that will allow the user to see the covers and images of books in color, while allowing the user to highlight text using colors.

Amazon also offers a new Kindle Scribe e-reader , a format that is equally well optimized for reading and note-taking. “The display features new white borders and a smooth, paper-like texture that makes it feel like you’re writing on a sheet of paper in a notebook. Plus, at 300 dpi, text looks crisp and clear when you write or read. The premium stylus is finely crafted to provide the perfect weight and balance, so it feels like you’re holding a real pen, and the new soft-tip eraser feels like a pencil—you’ll think you need to brush the screen clean after erasing,” Amazon says of the product. In addition, the company also offers a new AI-powered experience for note-taking.

As for the new Kindle Paperwhite, it allows you to scroll through pages even faster, with a speed that has been increased by 25%. The screen goes to 7 inches, but the product becomes even thinner, while offering three months of autonomy. Otherwise, Amazon has also improved its basic Kindle e-reader. Weighing 158 grams, the new version offers better contrasts and brightness comparable to that of the Paperwhite and a new green color.

In essence, Amazon offers quite a few interesting improvements, and enriches the range of Kindle e-readers with a new color model.
